Timeline :: Management of Offenders (Scotland) Act passed

The Management of Offenders (Scotland) Act introduced eight Community Justice Authorities, charged with developing strategic plans with thier key partners (police, courts, prisons, victims' organisations, health boards etc.) to reduce reoffending. McCulloch and McNeill describe the 'de-tartanisation' and 're-tartanisation' of policy at this time and beyond.
