'Can we talk about resources for people experiencing mental health crisis in Edinburgh - past, present and future??'

The Public Policy Network are hosting a Conversation event on the 25th of February, 5:30pm-7:00pm

The Scottish Government's 2012-2015 Mental Health Strategy addresses a number of issues related to our topic: variation in number and use of inpatient beds, including for people under 18; first-episode psychosis; crisis intervention/home treatment services; safe houses/sanctuaries; people experiencing distress, who pose challenges to services and families.

Given the range of issues, and variation across Scotland, it's prudent to ask what variety of resources might be needed in Edinburgh. And to consider not only present, but also past local and present potential varieties, when planning for the future?

You can find out more and book a place on the PPN website.
